Abu Dhabi, 16 January 2017: As part of a new partnership, National Ambulance has provided onsite medical support for the ADCB Zayed Sports City 5 and 10km Run, the second event of the season, which took place last Friday, attracted a sell-out crowd of almost 1,000 people. As part of National Ambulance’s commitment to ensuring a safe experience for all, it deployed vehicles from its state-of-the-art fleet of ambulances, alongside highly trained clinical staff.

The community run is the latest event that forms part of National Ambulance’s partnership with Zayed Sports City. Signed in October, the partnership will see National Ambulance providing emergency medical support to at least 100 of the events held at Abu Dhabi’s leading destination for sports and entertainment.

National Ambulance Deputy CEO, Ahmed Saleh Al Hajeri, said: “National Ambulance is honoured to have been chosen by Zayed Sports City as its emergency medical partner. At National Ambulance, supporting the community in times of most need is our paramount objective. Our experienced and qualified personnel, along with the latest in emergency medical equipment, will be on hand, ready to serve the public.”

National Ambulance’s commitment to supporting the community is a natural fit for us and we are excited to continue developing this relationship in the coming months.”
