National Ambulance Receives Global Recognition Award

Abu Dhabi, 15 September 2026: The UAE’s emergency medical services sector continues to strengthen its presence locally and internationally, with National Ambulance, part of the Federal Authority for Ambulance and Civil Defence, receiving the Global Recognition Award 2026 in recognition of its excellence in emergency medical services, clinical governance, quality of care and patient safety. The award recognises outstanding organisations, leaders and entrepreneurs across more than 26 sectors worldwide.

The achievement coincides with National Ambulance maintaining Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for five consecutive cycles spanning 12 years. JCI accreditation is among the leading international benchmarks for healthcare quality and patient safety.

National Ambulance has also received international media coverage from Forbes and Business Insider, highlighting the award and its approach to clinical governance, quality of care, patient safety and the implementation of international standards in emergency medical services.
