Abu Dhabi, 21 May 2026: National Ambulance, operating under the Federal Authority for Ambulance and Civil Defence, confirmed its preparedness and readiness for the Eid Al Adha holiday to ensure rapid response to emergency cases and the delivery of lifesaving ambulance services in line with the highest standards of efficiency, preparedness, and emergency medical care.

The readiness plan includes enhancing the deployment of ambulance teams across coverage areas, with a focus on high-density public locations expected to witness increased visitor activity during the holiday period, including mosques and Eid prayer grounds, slaughterhouses, beaches, public parks, shopping malls, and major tourist destinations. A series of coordination and readiness meetings were also conducted with strategic stakeholders, including Police General Headquarters across the Northern Emirates, as part of ongoing inter-agency collaboration efforts aimed at enhancing emergency response coordination and overall public safety preparedness during the Eid holiday.

National Ambulance also urges members of the public to adhere to safety precautions and practice safe driving, particularly during peak hours, while emphasizing the importance of closely supervising children during celebrations and recreational activities to help reduce the risk of accidents and medical emergencies.

The public is encouraged to call the ambulance emergency number 998 in emergency cases requiring urgent medical intervention.
