National Ambulance participates in the “22nd Emirates Critical Care Conference 2026

8 May 2026: National Ambulance, part of the Federal Entity for Ambulance and Civil Defense, is participating in the “22nd Emirates Critical Care Conference 2026,” which commenced today in Dubai. The three-day event aims to showcase the latest medical practices and technologies while promoting knowledge exchange in the fields of critical care, emergency medicine and advanced medical services.
The participation features an interactive booth showcasing advanced technologies and equipment used in emergency medical services and pre-hospital care, while highlighting National Ambulance’s role in enhancing response efficiency and quality of care in line with international best practices.
The Medical Education Team is delivering live EMS simulations alongside a series of awareness workshops and updated training sessions in line with the 2025 American Heart Association guidelines. The sessions include hands-only CPR, a CPR race, naloxone administration and epinephrine auto-injector use, bleeding control techniques, choking management for children and infants, as well as patient movement techniques using a spinal board.
The participation also includes scientific lectures delivered by Dr. Maryam Al Mansoori, Chief Medical Officer, titled “Prehospital Management of Agitated Patient,” and by Professor Ahed Al Najjar, Director of Education and Research, titled “Innovation of the Spaceship Paramedic Program,” in addition to a lecture titled “The Scientific Motivation Behind the Ministry of Interior’s Bin Wraiqa Service.”
