Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation Honours Efforts of National Ambulance in Ajman

Ajman, October 27, 2021: Sheikha Azza bint Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director-General of Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, received a delegation from National Ambulance represented by CEO, Ahmed Al Hajeri, and Strategic Stakeholders Manager, Fahd Baraba, as well as several clinical staff. The meeting was held at the Foundation’s headquarters to honour National Ambulance’s frontline workers in Ajman and their continuous efforts in facing and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Sheikha Azza bint Abdullah Al Nuaimi, said: "We have been keen to honour members of the National Ambulance Team, in appreciation of their commitment to perform their duty professionally and with dedication, and their keenness to save the lives of community members. Such an honour is consistent with the approach of our wise leadership in rewarding the distinguished and recognising their efforts.”
 
She added: "The great role of these paramedics, who work side by side with doctors and nurses in the first line of defense emerged during the global Corona pandemic. This gesture alone does not fully reward them for the work they do, but it is a message to them all that we are with them and we know very well the size of the responsibility they bear on their shoulders." 
 
Ahmed Al Hajeri, CEO of National Ambulance, said: “The Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation plays an important role in supporting national efforts in facing and combating the Covid-19 pandemic. Partners play a pivotal role in the success of emergency medical services in the field and in spreading public awareness which comes as part of the activation of sustainable partnerships that have a positive impact on society and the quality of life.”
 
“We extend our gratitude for the support and recognition granted by the Foundation to National Ambulance and its teams working in the Emirate of Ajman and their contribution to maintaining the health and safety of the community. This gesture will definitely have a positive effect on the morale of our team members and enhance their sense of belonging to the nation,” he added.
 
National Ambulance provides urgent pre-hospital care in the Northern Emirates which can be requested through the dedicated 998 emergency ambulance number and NA 998 mobile application. Its primary task is to work on the frontline to provide high standards of pre-hospital emergency medical services for serious illness and injuries to citizens, residents and visitors across the Emirates of Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al-Khaimah and Fujairah. Qualified ambulance crews combined with an advanced fleet and medical technologies are able to provide the appropriate care for patients in medical emergencies, trauma and public health crisis.
