Abu Dhabi, November 10 2012: It was a day when women and men wore pink unabashedly in varied shades and pieces. National Ambulance supported the Breast Cancer cause by providing on standby coverage throughout the event, especially during the intense match and exhibition.

Pink Polo, launched three years ago, is designed to raise breast cancer awareness among both men and women in the UAE community through a unique sporting initiative. The event, which took place at the Ghantoot Racing and club, was also a team-building opportunity for other National Ambulance staff members who attended in pink shirts (sponsored by BBM fashion) in support of the cause. They received free checkups for breast cancer regardless of gender, enjoyed the Pink Majlis, and cheered on during the games.

Chief Paramedic in charge ensured the event went smoothly without any hindrance by swiftly resolving the minor incidents that took place during the various activities including rides for children, falconry show, skydiving show and so forth.

National Ambulance always stresses the importance of its commitment to providing the highest standards of medical services in the UAE.
